FOR MANUFACTURERS

North American market entry for manufacturers in Europe, Turkey and the Gulf with no presence in Canada yet. Tires, equipment parts and components, and premium consumer goods. Canada first, then the United States. One principal on the ground, accountable to you.
01

Who This Is For

Mid-size manufacturers who export well but have no one in Canada. You may already sell into the United States through an importer, or you may be looking at North America for the first time. Either way the problem is the same: a serious market, a long distance, and nobody here who answers for your brand. That is the gap we fill.

Tires: OTR, agricultural, truck and bus

Parts, components and consumables for truck, trailer and machinery

Industrial hydraulics, fittings, filtration and lubricants

Premium and luxury consumer goods, especially European houses

How We Work Together

Two models, chosen around your product and your appetite for risk. Tehrani International Trading as your exclusive distributor, holding rights and inventory in Canada and selling to dealers and fleets on our own account. Or Tehrani International Trading as your appointed agent, on a retainer and commission basis, building your dealer and importer network while you ship and invoice direct. We tell you which one we would choose, and why, before we propose either.

Exclusive distributor: rights, inventory and dealer network held by us

Appointed agent: retainer plus commission, you ship and invoice direct

Territory, term and performance milestones agreed in writing

Agreements written to be easy to exit if the numbers do not hold

The First Ninety Days

Before any long-term commitment, a short first phase with a fixed scope. We map the Canadian market for your category, test your landed cost against what the market pays, shortlist the dealers, fleets and importers who should carry you, and open the first conversations under your name. At the end of it you have a written read on whether Canada is worth your time, and a decision to make.

After the First Order

Market entry is won in the years after launch, not at launch. We stay in the market as your representative: holding pricing, handling warranty and technical questions in the languages your customers use, managing stock where we hold it, and adding dealers only as fast as service can follow. Our longest agreements in the Middle East have run more than a decade for one reason. Somebody managed them every day.

Pricing discipline held across provinces and channels

Customs, labelling and regulatory compliance handled locally

Warranty, technical and customer communication in English, Turkish, Arabic and Farsi

Expansion into the United States planned once the Canadian base is solid

What We Need From You

A decision maker

Someone on your side who can agree terms without a three month internal review. Market windows close, and the good retail slots go to whoever is ready first.

Honest product economics

Landed cost, minimum order quantities, lead times, and the margin the brand genuinely needs to survive at retail here. Optimistic numbers cost everyone a year.

Clear brand guardrails

What the brand will and will not do. Pricing floors, channels you refuse, presentation standards. Tell us what to defend and we will defend it.

Patience for year one

Distribution compounds. The first twelve months build the base. The return comes from the decade after it, which is why our agreements tend to run that long.
